Josh Knox is from London, England. Growing up surrounded by action sports athletes, he first got into filmmaking and photography to get creative with his friends and family. Josh began freelancing in 2005 as a filmmaker and photographer around the world, shooting all types of action sports.

With his extended knowledge of many sports including skateboarding, snowboarding and skiing, there is instant enthusiasm within his work which speaks volumes about his commitment and vision. Josh now bases himself out of London, England - but is often traveling to the mountains on freelance filmmaking or photography trips with companies such as Nike Footwear, Red Bull Energy and Quiksilver, as well as working closely on projects with athletes such as professional skier Jon Olsson.

Recently, Josh has been focusing on creating films for a broad audience whilst still being credible in their niche scenes. On the photography side, action is still his main focus, but the lifestyle element is also a big part of photography to Josh.
